portraits Louis-Marie et Claire Vincent

Maison Louis-Marie Vincent is distinguished by its know-how and its taste for excellence in the world of design, creation of fine furniture, decorative panel and interior decoration. It came to life in 2013 from Claire and Louis-Marie Vincent desire to join their talents. While Louis-Marie Vincent concentrates on the line, Claire focuses her attention on materials and colors. They define themselves as designers-decorators, very inspired by Jean-Michel Frank. The emphasis is always on elegant simplicity, a timeless classic design with a modern twist.
Sharing the same passion for excellence, these two partners have the theme “History and Know-How”. Through this philosophy, they have managed to attract the trust of an international clientele that is both demanding and cultivated. They apply their decorating skills equally well in a duplex in London as in castles in France and Belgium.

Reflecting the French art of living and an unparalleled aestheticism, the collection of objects and furniture are characterized by their elegance, and their pure and timeless lines. Shagreen, parchment, precious woods, leather, mixed brass, glass or other materials, turn into coffee tables, sofa pieces, consoles, cabinets, desks, boxes and mirrors but also precious cases … The originality of Maison Louis-Marie Vincent is not only the use of rare and exceptional materials but also to incorporate some of its furniture with mechanisms hidding secret caches.
Maison Louis-Marie Vincent realizes bespoke projects for international private and professional clients and also creates decorative wall panels in precious wood, shagreen, parchment, leather, straw marquetry with or without brass inlays, bone, horn, mother-of-pearl … The decorative panel transforms and sublimates an interior giving a new dimension to the different rooms. The chosen materials have not only a decorative effect but also open spaces and play with light.

Our workshops located in Bierné, in Mayenne, in France, are unique in that we practice the four professions necessary to realise a complete product : cabinet-making, marquetry, metalworking and finishing.
In addition to our team, we are surrounded by French craftsmen in iron, gilders, upholsterers, decorative painters and more in order to meet the most demanding of your requests.
Each item issued from our workshops is unique or produced in small series, using traditional cabinet-making techniques from the 18th Century such as marquetry and stamp-varnishing associated with contemporary and specific processes such as those used in aeronautics or yachting. The assembly, covering and finishing are carried out by hand.

Impassioned by the eighteenth century and Art Deco, Louis-Marie Vincent, creators of museum quality furniture, continues its brokerage business in search of objects and furniture that are restored in their workshops.
In addition to a clientele of private collectors, he has also participated in the restoration of furniture of the Louvre, the Château de Versailles, the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Bordeaux and the Cleveland Museum of Art in Ohio (USA).
